In 1983 we invested RM35,000.00 to buy an
apartment in Kuala Lumpur. In the same year because of the cooperative
crisis, the company that we invested our money in went bust.
Since the company could not carry on the housing project, the company
issued to us 35,000 units of share of the company valued at RM7,000.00 as
a form of compensation.
Ever since then the value of the shares had remain the same.
Many of you who went to our recent church camp will know that we chose
to obey God after hearing from Him to release our son Jason to Kuala
Lumpur to further his studies inspite of our desire to keep him here in
Kota Kinabalu because of our financial constrain.
Two weeks after the church camp, I received a call from my brother
informing me that the shares which I am holding now is worth RM0.70 a
share and my total share of 35,000 units is now value at RM24,500.00 and
the amount is just sufficient to pay for our son's two year course in
Kuala Lumpur. At that very moment I knew that our good Lord had made
provision for our son's education.
We would like to thank all the brothers and sisters who prayed for our
son, Jason but most of all we would like to thank our mighty God for His
wonderful grace upon our life.
We sincerely hope that our testimony would be an encouragement to those
of you who are in a difficult financial position to exercise faith in our
mighty God and trust in Him for all our needs!
